Technologies for determining moisture content in each individual wood logs
What we are looking for?
Individual moisture measurement of the wood pieces is required to optimize the subsequent processes in pulp, plywood, and sawmills.
Technological solutions are sought that allow for both individual measurement and data estimation in batches, with the potential for implementation in one or more phases of the production chain (planting, harvesting, loading, plant reception).
A fundamental requirement is that it guarantees the traceability and categorization of the logs by moisture level, including individual labeling for their subsequent segregation, and that the measurement is done in-situ.
How will we evaluate your solution?
The technology must achieve an accuracy of between ±0.5% and ±2% in the measurement of the moisture percentage, compared to laboratory analysis.
